| 摘 要： | 评论界以往对艾玛的看法基本是持否定态度的,认为她耽于物欲与淫乐。在仔细研读作品的基础上,本文认为艾玛在物质与感性的色彩的后面,还有追求理想,敢于行动,渴望纯洁的两性之爱的心灵的契合,世俗与精神两方面都追求饱满的特质。艾玛身上的某些特质是女性所共有的,在一定程度上体现了现代的女性意识。

| Abstract: | Since the publication of Gustave Flaubert's Madame Bovary in 1857,Amour,the heroine intrigues a lot of readers.On the point of their appraisement about Amour,critics have been unable to agree or decide which is right.However,early remarks adopted an attitude of negating the heroine,thinking her indulging in material desires and sensual pursuits.Investigating the novel,this paper aims to point out that modern women share some characteristics which Amour embodies,and that these characteristics show women's self-awareness. |
