不同年龄阶段学习外语的特点及其对外语教学的影响

摘    要:年龄是外语学习中学习者个体差异的重要因素之一。本文首先回顾年龄与外语学习关系中颇受争议的关键期假说的发展状况,提出不同年龄阶段学习外语具有的不同特.最。并在此基础上建议外语教学应根据不同年龄阶段不同特点实施不同的教学策略,制定相应的教学目标并采用相应的教学方法,以达到最佳的学习效果。

Abstract:Age is the variable that has been most frequently considered in study of individual differences in foreign language learning. This paper reviews the development of the Critical Period Hypothesis and puts forward different features during different language learning stages. Furthermore, it proposes that to attain the best learning effect, in foreign language teaching we should, according to different features in every stage, implement distinct teaching strategies, develop relevant teaching objectives and adopt corresponding teaching methods.
