An Analysis of the Guiding Ideology for Management of College English Teaching in Lishui University

The fresh college students in Lishui University usually have a poor foundation in their English knowledge while most college English teachers are overloaded with the teaching work.The article,based on the above reality,is to talk about the guiding idealogy for the management of college English teaching.It's believed that the management should follow the educational principle: "Giving first to educating students,lifelong education" and respect the dominant status of teachers in the teaching practice.Only by adhering to the guiding ideology of the encouragement and benefit in the management,can the teaching reform of college English be smoothly promoted to ensure the English proficiency of the students in Lishui University.
