英语广告语言的模糊性及其翻译

摘    要:模糊性是人类思维和语言的根本属性。英语广告中大量使用语言的模糊来宣传产品、传播信息或观念,引导和感召人们去采取某种行动。在英译汉过程中可使用模糊译模糊、精确译模糊、增加模糊表达、将英语中的模糊表达译成汉语的四字词组等方法,再现英语广告的模糊性,使译文更能贴近原文表达的意思。

Abstract:Fuzziness is the essential feature of language. In English advertisements, fuzziness of language is abundantly used to promote products, disseminate information and ideas. Therefore, audiences can be led and appealed to take actions. Based on the analysis and roles of fuzziness of language in English advertisements, the methods of how to understand and deal with fuzziness of language are studied and some feasible strategies of translating fuzziness of advertisement language are explored.
