| 摘 要： | 设立图书馆的经济目的是为了节省读者获取文献的成本,图书馆的经济效益表现为在一定的资金投入下为读者共同节省的获取文献的成本。为了达到经济效益的最大化,图书馆必须选择需求重叠度较高的文献,进而表明,图书馆应承担读者的共同文献需求。预知某种文献的利用人数要借助于信息网络,让读者选择文献。读者需求机制下的馆藏结构以不设置保障性文献为宜,应由专门机构发挥文献保障作用。合理的馆藏结构主要是读者的共同文献需求、购置经费和文献的老化三者共同作用的结果。
