身体意识对宗教禁欲主义的抗争——从克洛德到海丝特

在雨果的《巴黎圣母院》中 ,作者通过克洛德的形象一方面揭露了基督教禁欲教义对人们身体的残酷戕害 ,另一方面也显示出当时人们身体意识艰难的觉醒过程 ;在霍桑的《红字》中 ,面对清教极端禁欲教义的无情压迫 ,海丝特那强烈的身体意识在时代先进精神的指引下对前者进行了有力的抗争。从克洛德到海丝特 ,反映了那个时代人们不断摆脱神权统治 ,争取个体独立的过程。长期以来 ,尽管为了恢复身体的本来面目 ,人们与宗教、理性、政治等进行了不懈的斗争 ,但真正的身体社会并未到来。

Body Conciousness Resisting Religious Ascetic Doctrine--From Clord to Hester

In Hugo's Notre-Dame de Paris,the author,on the one hand,through the image of Clord exposed the cruel persecution which the Christainity ascetic doctrine put on people's body,and,on the other hand ,showed the awakening process of people's body.In Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter,facing the harsh oppression of the extreme Puritan ascetic doctrine,Hester's strong body conciousness,guided by the Age's advanced spirit,had resisted the oppression powerfully.From Clord to Hester,it reflected the difficult course,during which the people at that times' freed themselves from the religious authority's rule and tried to be individually independent.From a long time ago,although to restore the body's original appearance,people have unretiringly struggled against religion,reasons and politics,the real Body-Society hasn't come yet.
