分析了经济全球化背景下世界交通运输业在需求、结构及管理方式方面的变化和未来世界交通运输业发展过程中将会出现的三种趋势，并据此得出结论：为适应经济全球化及世界交通运输业发展变化的新趋势，中国的交通运输增长方式必然要从粗放型向集约型转变。为此，应从提高交通运输资源配置效率和资源利用效率入手，充分发挥市场和政府两方面的作用，重点解决提高交通增量投资效率和存量交通资产利用效率两方面的问题。

Economy Globalization and Transition of Chinese Traffic Transportation Growth

The paper analyses, under the setting of economy globalization, the change of global traffic transportation in support and demand and manner of management, and three trends of its development, then draws a conclusion that, for adapting the economy globalization and new trends of global traffic transportation development, Chinese traffic transportation growth must change from the extensive to the intensive. Therefore, measures should be taken from promoting resource disposing efficiency and utilizing efficiency of traffic transportation, making full use of market and government, taking efforts to resolving the problems existing in promoting additional traffic investing efficiency and reserved traffic utilizing efficiency.
