软实力建设背景下的高校外语专业教学

软实力是当前中国大战略框架的核心要素之一。软实力的建设要求所有人文学科的共同参与。大学既是软实力要素之一，也是人文学科建设的主要阵地。外语作为一门人文学科，其教学远未实现软实力建设的目标。因此。高校外语专业教学应加大对于中华文化（软实力的核心要素）的教育力度与深度。但这决不应是知识简介式的猎奇与比较，而应该以素质教育的整体目标为指导，以审美与艺术教育为主要手段，结合我国高校课程设置的实际情况，培养中国文化知识、创造性思维以及外语口语交际三位一体的综合能力，全面提升学生的文化软实力。
