卡通电影字幕翻译中隐喻型流行语的运用

《马达加斯加3》上映后,字幕翻译中是否该加入流行语的问题引起了激烈的争论。本文在比较另一部多处用到流行语而备受好评的卡通电影《里约大冒险》基础上,提出流行语的运用符合卡通片的观众群体需求和影片基调,但是使用的时候必须要有限度,要考虑影片中的情景语境,并且选择为大众普遍接受的隐喻型流行语,才能被观众接受,为影片增色。

Application of Metaphorical Catchwords in the Subtitle Translation of Cartoon Films

After the release of Madagascar III, violent controversy are aroused about whether the catchwords should be added in the subtitle translation. Comprised with the cartoon film of Rio which applies a lot of catchwords in the translation, this paper proposes that the application of catchwords meets the demands of the audience and the mood of the films,however, when applying, the context of situation in the films should be considered and the metaphorical catchwords should be accepted by the public so that they can be accepted by audience and glorify the films.
