高考“3 X”分数转换和总分合成方法

摘    要:本文首先用通俗易懂的例子解释在计算高考总分时使用原始分是不妥的。然后指出在推行“3 X”科目设置后,使用通常的标准分合成总分是错误的。接着对“3 X”科目设置,提出了分数转换和总分合成的方法。最后,介绍了分数转换中异常值的识别和剔除问题。

Abstract:When all candidates sit for all subjects of a large-scale examination, adding standardized scores from all subjects is a routinely recommended procedure to produce an overall rank of the examinees. However, under the "3 X scheme, this procedure causes problems and use of raw scores instead of standardized scores is often called for in this situation. With a simple example, this paper demonstrates that summing raw scores of different subjects of the higher education admission examinations is also problematic. An alternative procedure is proposed for converting the scores from different subjects including "X subjects and producing the "total scores" under the "3 X scheme. Criteria for scores/cases exclusion are also recommended.
