情感因素对外语阅读教学的影响及教师的策略

摘    要:文章从应用心理语言学的角度探讨了阅读教学中情感因素的介入、发展及如何加以利用的问题。着重探讨了两种阅读模式“由上而下”和“由下而上”(top—down和bottom—up)在阅读教学中的应用及其发展。着重分析了在这两种阅读模式的影响下,对学生英语阅读中所出现的情感因素,讨论了教师如何进行利用和应对的策略,并在此基础上尝试性地提出了一些解决的办法。

Abstract:This present paper, observing from the angle of applied psycho-linguistics, probes into the effects oi personal emotional factors of the students on their English reading.It also focuses on the development of these factors in the process of the students'English reading and how to make use of them.This paper lays great emphasis on the two reading approaches, i.e.top-down and bottom-up, whose development and application are fully discussed here.It is pointed out that two approaches have both their advantages and disadvantages.With the development of reading theories and cognitive linguistics and the related disciplines, people pay more and more attention to the interaction of the two approaches and the role emotional factors playing in the teaching English reading.Simultaneously, in this article some reacting strategies of teachers are put forward and discussed.It is hoped that this will do good to the improving of the reading quality of the students'and the development of the their reading potential.
