| Abstract: | Pragmatic rhetoric is an interdisciplinary subject of pragmatics and rhetoric.This paper introduces the research contents of pragmatic rhetoric and explores the application of pragmatic rhetoric in the teaching of intensive reading course to English major students.The findings show that teaching intensive reading from the perspective of pragmatic rhetoric can help students understand the texts in a holistic way. |
