On Xu Wei's Calligraphy

In order to understand Xuwei's aesthetic standards and creativity features of calligraphy, it is necessary to know his view of literature and art. This paper, which gives a brief introduction to Xu's view of literature and art, focuses on those characteristics and creative elements of his calligraphy and refutes the idea that there is no reasonable method in Xu's handwriting. Moreover, the sources of Xu's handwriting are also mentioned. Xu's handwriting, which didn't gain high praise and had little influence in history, should be paid much more attention today than before.
