| Abstract: | Based on the complexity of the "Yangtze Golden Channel" and thefrequent occurring of vessel traffic accidents, this paper expounds the necessityand urgency of setting up the VTMS for the Du Tianmiao-San JiangyingChannel, which is part of th "Golden Channel". After a review of the problemsexisting in the Channel' traffic management systems the author offers someapproaches to setting up the VTMS with the character istics of China's YangtzeRiver. |
