Probing into the New Level of the Rate of Speaking Mandarin in Quanzhou

Since China has adopted open-door policy,especially from the 1990's on,the government of Quanzhou has paid high attention to carrying out the laws and policies related to languages,the population of speaking Min dialect has formed a pluralism pattern with social changes and the increase of floating population,and the tourism resources of historical cultural towns has been fully utilized and exploited,which helps explain why Mandarin has been greatly populated than any other one before in Quanzhou.The change in Quanzhou's language life reflects not only the relations between language and social politics,economics and culture,but also the degree of civilization and openness.
