The Economics Analysis of Spam

As a kind of the Internet nuisance, Spam is endangering Internet in both stability and security which has attracted extensive attention. This paper uses some economics principles, such as cost, externalities, public goods and public policy to analyze the reasons for Spare emergence and overflow in two aspects of the market failure and government intervention failure, hoping to provide some advisory opinions to restrain the Spam at the level of system construction.
