英语教学中文化背景知识输入的思考

语言是文化的载体,语言教学应该在传授语言知识的同时介绍文化,语言教学的过程应该是语言知识和文化信息的输入过程,英语文化知识的缺乏将会严重影响英语学习者的跨文化交际。因此,英语课堂教学和课外教学应该通过不同途径对学生进行文化输入,以培养能满足社会要求的英语人才。

On English Teaching and the Introducing of Cultural Background

Language is the carrier of culture;and the introduction of culture should be taken into consideration in language teaching.The process of language teaching must be the improvement of language skills and the input of cultural information.Lack of English cultural information greatly affects the learners' cross-cultural communication.Therefore,different teaching methods should be taken in or after class to enrich the students' cultural background knowledge with the aim of cultivating qualified English majors.
