语境与大学英语阅读教学

摘    要:大学英语阅读教学是我国大学非英语专业学生学习英语的重要途径。这一阶段是学生从中学向大学过渡 ,完善、巩固所学英语知识 ,并学会自主学习的阶段。本文针对目前我国大学英语教学的现状 ,分析了现阶段大学英语教学的特点 ,利用语境分析的理论 ,对自上而下的教学模式做了实践性的尝试 ,把以教师为中心的课堂模式转变为以学生为中心 ,从根本上改变了阅读与记忆生词的关系 ,调动了学生的学习积极性 ,收到了良好的教学效果

Abstract:College English Teaching is an efficient way for non-English majors' English studying. This paper intends to analyze the characteristic features of the teaching of reading on the basis of the current state of college English teaching. It involves the context theory and makes attempts on the "top-down" model to turn the teacher-centered classroom into a students-centered one, thus, enforces the students to cultivate a habit of memorizing new words through text, instead of learning the text through words. It proves to have achieved a better result.
