| Abstract: | Progress in research of polyvinyl alcohol in recent years was reviewed in this paper. It is introduced that the preparing methods, characteristics, properties of the above-mentioned materials and their application in oil field, adhesion agent, coating, accessory ingredient,surface active agent, materials of functional polymer, mambrane of materials, analytical chemistry, and chemical fibre, and other fields. Possible development directions are also put forward. |
