| Abstract: | Xiao Hong was a quite influential woman writer in the left-wing circle of literature in the 1930s.Her novel-creation was marked by a different art style,i.e.non-plots and prose of non-drama,an open and free structure as well as lyrical and poetic appeal emitted from her rippling and flowing words.She was good at depicting sceneries and backgrounds,just like narrative poems and landscape paintings.The elements mentioned above have led to unique contributions of her novels to modern novels in China. |
