战后美国科学教育目的的演变

美国是世界上科学教育最发达的国家，同时又是历次教育改革的先锋。所以，研究战后美国科学教育目的的演变对于我国科学教育改革有着重要的意义。战后美国政府、教育界、民众三股力量对科学教育的关注、三种力量的不同组合，使科学教育目的在不断变化中趋向一个又一个平衡。大体上，美国科学教育目的经历了培养科学家、培养有生产力的劳动者、培养具有科学素养的人三个阶段。
