信息技术如何改变着教育

尽管我们无法准确的预见未来,但是,有一点我们可以确信,那就是准备未来要靠教育。互联网和通讯技术的发展的确加快了信息、资金、物品的流动速度,产生了新的产业和盈利方式,并在一定程度上影响和改变着社会的生活方式和民意的表达方式。但是,人们对教育会发生飞跃,教育将会发生根本性的变化的预测并没有变为现实。教育的确在进步,但是,根本性的教育变革并没有发生。例如说,在过去的几年里,中国的高等教育的确发展迅速,高校在校生已经超过两千万,这种发展主要体现在数量上,而不是质的变化上,是传统高校在原有体制下的扩充,几乎没有运用开放大学和网络学院的形式。

How Information Technology is Changing the Face of Education

Although we are unable to predict future accurately, we are sure that a preparation for the future relies on education. The development of Internet and communication technology indeed accelerates the flow speed of information, capital and goods and brings about new industries and new profit-making methods, and influences and changes the way of social life and the will of the people to some extent. However, the prediction of the rapid and great development and fundamental changes of education of the people doesn't come true. The education is surely progressing, but the fundamental education change doesn't take place. For example, in the past few years, the higher education of China has indeed developed rapidly. The number of students on campus has exceeded more than 20 million. The change mainly shows in quantity, not in quality, which is the extension of conventional institutions under the former system and hardly use the form of open universities and web colleges.
