| 摘 要： | 阅读速度过慢这一问题在我国大学生英语学习中普遍存在。它制约了阅读量，从而直接影响英语水平的提高。该文以图式理论为基础，说明了通过学生在阅读中的预测技能培养，能提高他们的阅读效率。同时介绍了一些训练预测技能的方法。

| Abstract: | Slow reading speed, a widely existing phenomenon with college students in China, severely hinders them from reading extensively, thus affecting the improvement of their overall English proficiency. This paper analyzes the possibility of mastering the predicting skill, suggesting that training the students can have a good command of this skill. As a result, their reading efficiency will be greatly improved. |
