对高等教育大众化研究的方法论思考

对高等教育大众化问题的思考不能仅仅停留在实用技术层面上，必须进入方法论层面，也即必须进行高等教育大众化的价值取向的思考，而这是当前研究中比较缺乏的。从方法论出发，目前致力于寻找高等教育规模与经济发展水平之间的精确关系的技术向度研究存在重大缺憾，因为它没有回答高等教育大众化对人们生活方式的影响以及高等教育制度所应进行的调整，这就需要新的研究方式来补足，这个新的研究方式就是本文提出的文化向度的研究。

Thoughts on the Methodology of Researches on Higher Education Popularization

As to the researches o higher education popularization, what should be considered is not only the pragmatic technology, but also the methodology, i. e. the orientation of higher education popularization. Meth-odologically, there are some vital drawbacks in the technological orientation, which is trying to find the precise reladons between the scale of higher education and the Ievel of economic development, but gives no answers to what will happen to people's lifestyle in the process of higher education popularization and how to adjust the sys-tem of higher education. To remedy this needs new research, and that is the research on the cultural orientation.
