| 摘 要： | 目前学术界关于司马相如生年的考辨有五种代表性意见,文章对这五种意见的考辨思路,及其考辨的文献支持度,即各种意见对原始文献证据的发现、采用和理解的过程进行比较性评述,认为第五种意见刘南平所发现的文献依据,形成了严谨确凿的证据链;建议将司马相如的生年表述为“约公元前169年（文帝前元十一年）”;同时提出以《资治通鉴》为学术考辨之依据是需要慎之又慎的.
