Key Title and the Entry of Serials

The AACR2 uniform titles used to identify serials (and, to some extent, the code's entry of serials in general) are examined, and difficulties are found to exist with both. The author therefore recommends that serial entry be restricted to title or uniform title constructed according to the generally accepted ISDS provisions for key titles.
