摘    要:《西厢记》和《牡丹亭》都是反映封建社会青年男女追求自由爱情、反对封建专制的优秀剧作。通过将两剧时代背景、人物的生活环境及两位主人公的性格特征进行比较,显示出不同时代的特殊文化意义,展现了两位叛逆女性以“至情”超逸传统意识的思想过程及叛逆性格的深刻内涵。

Abstract:The Romance of West Chamber and Peony Pavilion are both the excellent plays that reflected the young men and women in the feudal society pursued love freedom and rebelled feudal autocracy. On the basis of the comparison between the two plays' times background, the living surroundings where the characters were in and the personalities characteristics of the two heroines, this paper points out their respective special cultural significance of different times and reveals the two rebel heroines' mental process beyond the traditional consciousness and the penetrating connotation of their rebel characteristics.
