现代性困境与理性重建

在对现代性进行检视、批判的各派哲学主张中,哈贝马斯作为法兰克福学派第二代领军人物独树一帜。他一方面捍卫现代性的理想,认为现代性是一项未完成的设计;另一方面也对现代性的困惑进行反思,寻求可能性出路。通过对现代性与主体性内在一致性的哲学分析,哈贝马斯认同黑格尔关于主体性是现代性主要原则的思想,并进一步指出这种主体性从根本上属于以理性为主导的意识哲学。哈贝马斯主张,要重建理性,就必须真正跳出传统的意识哲学的窠臼,突破传统形而上学思维模式,从后形而上学思维境域下阐扬理性概念,用自己的交往行为理论来取代意识哲学。
