| 摘 要： | 以批判现实主义和浪漫主义起家的现代主义虽兴起于欧洲它国,但在英国却结出了丰硕的果实,尤其是小说文类。英国现代主义小说作为英国现代主义文学的一部分,占据着重要的位置,在其发展过程中以表达独特的主题和表现对象,运用革新的形式和技巧形成了自己显著的特征,正是这些特点使得英国小说发展进入了一个新的时期。
