无锡科技职业学院公共英语教学改革初探

公共英语课作为一门各专业学生的必修基础课,不仅要帮助学生打好语言基础,更要注重培养学生实际应用的语言技能,特别是用英语处理与未来职业相关业务的能力。本文提出新形势下高职公共英语教学应通过语言和专业的深度融合,以增强其实用性和职业性的观点。

Public English teaching reform in Wuxi vocational college of science and technology

As a basis required course for the professional students,the public English class can not only help students lay a solid language foundation,but also focus on training the practical application of the language skills of students,especially in the ability of dealing with English and future career-related services.This paper proposes that public English teaching should be through the depth integration of language and expertise to enhance its usefulness and occupational point under the new situation.
