大学哲学与政府权力自律

世界大学历史中形成了认识论和政治论两种大学哲学,其中认识论的大学哲学以人的身心健全发展为目的,政治论大学哲学以满足社会需要为目的,其不同的价值趋向造就了不同的大学品质和风格。我国大学在价值趋向方面几乎是呈"一边倒"的态势,基本上都崇奉以满足社会需要为目的的政治论大学哲学。但由于在我国的政治传统中缺乏这种哲学本意中的政府权力自律内涵,因而这种哲学在我国大学中的功能,已经演变为大学组织行政化、大学行为功利化、大学风气庸俗化的催化剂,使大学方向迷乱和精神堕落,而进行以"去行政化"为标志的政府权力自律,则成为大学发展和进步的必然条件。

On the university philosophy and moderate governmental power

Two types,viz.,epistemology-based and politics-based philosophies are developed in the history of university philosophy,of which the former aims at the healthy mentality of individuals,and the latter the satisfaction of social demands.The two philosophies lead universities into different values and styles.Chinese universities tend to be one-sided for the politics-based philosophy,which,in turn,endows them with the catalytic worldliness of political,and beneficial orientations.Therefore,the writer argues for the de-political philosophy in universities.
