| 摘 要： | 国内外许多学者都对英语歧义作过研究,这些研究主要是从句法结构的角度进行具体分析的。我们更倾向于从语义学的角度分析歧义。语义因素是歧义产生的主要因素之一,语境也是歧义产生的一个重要因素。一般来说,歧义是语言交际的绊脚石,但如果能巧妙地运用歧义,也能收到节奏和谐、生动形象、含蓄幽默、揶揄讽刺等修辞效果。

| Abstract: | A great number of researches on ambiguity have been made by linguistics.These researches are mainly analyzed from the perspective of syntactic structure.We are in favor of the opinion of analyzing ambiguity from the aspect of semantics.Semantic constituent is a major cause of ambiguity.Generally speaking,ambiguity is an obstacle in language communication.However,if we use it skillfully,ambiguity may fulfill the desired musical,vivid,ironical,humorous and implicative rhetorical functions. |
