Research on the next-Gen library collections and services

Based on the research on the next-Gen library systems and services, this paper first of all describes such imaginary scenes as acquisitions on demand, data copying, unified management, and unified discovery and delivery. And then discusses that the above visible trends will transform the traditional library to the next-Gen library which will focus on construction of the special or featured collections, supporting teaching, learning or research, and providing an environment for new knowledge hatching.
