| Abstract: | Shen Congwen's works are based on local conditions,customs and historical social life of his native place in west Hu'nan province.He persisted in seeking and constructing his and the nation's spiritual homeland,exploring and digging a healthy life style devoutly.He pays great attention to develop and criticize west Hu'nan local life style and folk customs.His novels were given plentiful and solid cultural implication. |
