An Analysis of Color Language Personality of the Oil Painting

Color is the key elements of a work of art. Since the impressionists, Western painting innovation mostly relies on color. Because of the actively creations made by the artists from all genres, color language was constantly enriched. This paper takes the history of Western painting as the main line, and combines with case study to analyze the color language characteristics of the oil painting.
