| 摘 要： | 隐喻作为一种语言现象和认知现象在日常生活中无所不在。它更是一种文化现象,不同文化背景下的隐喻蕴涵着各民族特有的文化内涵和思维方式。隐喻的翻译尤其复杂。通过对英汉语言中的隐喻进行跨文化对比发现,常用的隐喻翻译策略有:直接对应策略、转换喻体的归化策略、保留喻体的异化策略和舍弃喻体保留喻义的策略等。

| Abstract: | As a kind of human linguistic and cognitive phenomenon,metaphors can be seen everywhere in our daily life.However,metaphors are more a kind of cultural phenomenon.Metaphors from different cultural backgrounds are loaded with the unique cultural connotations and the thinking mode of a particular nation.The translation of metaphors is especially complex.Through some specific examples,the present thesis made an intercultural comparison of the metaphors in both Chinese and English languages and summarized four commonly used translation strategies that can be applied to translate metaphors. |
