| Abstract: | The proper social functions of modern scientific edit are discussed in thepaper based on the character of edit work for scientific journals and on its social positionand role, as well as on the proper ability a editor should have. The social functions of scien-tific edit are followings: Firstly, macro-control and overall design for mental products ofthe society; Secondly, to find and foster talent persons; Finally, to promote the develop-ment of scientific research and reproduction of mental civilization. |
