多元价值论与大学理想的诉求

摘    要:关于大学理想研究的文献多数是以本质主义的思维方式写成的,本质主义作为研究大学理想之学者群体的集体潜意识,需要从反本质主义的认识论路线加以批判性的反思。然而,重新建构大学的理想既要走出本质主义的思维定势,又不能滑向反本质主义的泥沼,大学的理想在于有效地整合和放大"自由、忠诚、卓越与平等"四种基本价值,过于强调任何一种价值都有可能造成混乱的局面。1900年前后,德国大学之所以成为世界大学的理想,也是因为较为充分地体现了多元价值论的建构逻辑。

Abstract:Most of the literatures regarding the university ideal research are written in the thinking way of essentialism. As the collective subconsciousness of the group of scholars to study university ideal, essentialism needs to have critical reflection from the route of anti-essentialism cognition theory. However, the reconstruction of university ideal should not only walk out of the fixed thought of essentialism, but also avoid sliding into the morass of anti-essentialism. University ideal lies in effective integration and enlargement of the four basic values in terms of freedom, loyalty, excellence and equity. Over emphasizing on any of the values is possible to cause chaos. The reason why German universities became the world university ideal around 1900 is that it fully demonstrated the constructive logic of the theory of multi-values.
