Counselling in the Israeli high school: Particular focus on preparation for military recruitment

A general framework for the preparation of adolescents for military service is presented. It is argued that such a program should be administered in high school whenever military service is compulsory. The unique contribution of high school counsellor to the process of transition from high school to military service is discussed.
