新文化是从旧文化发展而来的,新文化的创造不能脱离历史文化遗产.在中华民族文化发展的历史长河中,某一阶段的文化总是继承了前一阶段的文化,才能得到发展;因此,我们不能割断历史.对待历史文化遗产要采取辨证的态度,进行历史的辩证的分析.这样做,既可以提高民族的自信心,又有助于中国革命和建设的实践;其目的是为了创造中华民族的新文化.

the new culture evolves from the past culture; the creation of the new culture can not separate itself from the cultural heritage of history .In the course of the culture development of the Chinese nation ,only inheriting it's former phase's culture, can the culture of some phase get to be developed .So, we can not cut off itself from history .We must take a dialectical attitude towards the cultural heritage of history .It can both improve our nation's self-confidence and conduce to the Chinese revolution and construction for us to do in this way the purpose to create new culture of the Chinese nation.
