| 摘 要： | 双关是重要的修辞,英汉的双关修辞在内涵与外延上存在着差异,因此译者在翻译的过程中应该不但要理解原文字面上的意思,更要根据交际的环境、条件和旨意理解其社会背景、文化背景,尽量使译文具有对等的表达效果。

| Abstract: | As a rhetoric device, the pun used in Chinese and in English has great difference in its connotation and extension. Therefore, the translators have to have a deep understanding of its literal meaning and in-text connotation and seek for the maximum equivalence. |
