| 摘 要： | 在认真分析了目前我国高校英语教师自身职业发展现状的基础上，指出目前英语教师在专业知识和专业能力方面存在的问题以及寻求自身职业发展的必要性，提出了从调整课程内容，树立终身学习观念，开展反思性教学活动，培养信息观念四方面促进高校英语教师职业发展的途径。

| Abstract: | It is one of the important aspects to carry out the professional development of college English teachers in the process of college English teaching.Combined with the talking to some college English teachers,the current situation of college English teaching is analyzed.The problems existing in their professional fields and the necessi-ty of developing their professional abilities are pointed out and at the same time,some personal views on it are put forward. |
