A Review of Rorty's Post-philosophical Concept of Culture

Post-philosophical concept of culture is the core idea of Rorty's thought.It has not only destroyed the western traditional philosophy that attempts to pursue capitalized "truth" and capitalized "goodness";but has also destroyed the traditional view of scientific and philosophy.It is a new cultural concept which unifies all the disciplines in sciences and humanities,including human beings.The authors hold that conversational philosophy advocated by post-philosophical culture meets the requirement of the current era.In addition,it not only provides us with an appropriate angel to observe and understand the American democracy and freedom,but has also far surpassed the scope of American academic dispute with the significance of universal cultural phenomena in the world.
