图片在大学英语口语教学中的应用

随着大学英语教学改革的实行,口语教学在大学英语教学过程中的地位日益凸显,学生英语口语的学习和提高成为教学中的重要组成部分。为此,本文论述在英语口语教学中如何使用各种图片来刺激学习者的视觉神经,引导学习者产生口语表达的愿望,增加口语表达的机会,以此提高学习者的口语表达能力。实践表明,这种教学方法简单易行、操作性强,而且效果不错。学习者用此方法练习口语的同时,听力也得到相应提高。

On Application of Pictures in College Oral English Teaching

With the carrying out of College English teaching reform, during the period of college English teaching, the author has experimented with using various pictures in oral English teaching class in an attempt to develop learners'speaking ability. Pictures can stimulate learners'visual nerves and arouse their desire to express what they see in the pictures, and therefore can increase their opportunities to speak English. The practice shows that this kind of teaching approach is not only simple and easy to carry out, but very effective. By using this method, learners' oral English can be frequently practiced, meanwhile their listening ability can also be improved.
