言教与行教的辩证关系及其启示

从院校学科体系建设狭隘视野的角度看,思想政治教育仅仅是言教高度职业化的事业,这必然导致思想政治教育的孤立状态,进而无法承受国家和社会对这一工作的厚望之重。从历史唯物主义基本原理的角度进行分析,思想政治教育的基本问题是言教和行教及其相互关系的系统性问题:没有言教,行教必然丧失其发展的方向;没有行教,言教必然成为脱离实际、高度职业化的空洞说教。从思想政治教育的成功和失败的历史看,制约思想政治教育实效性的关键因素是行教与言教吻合的程度。

On the Dialectical Relationship Between Precept and Example and Its Implications

Looked upon narrowly as a course in a college, the ideological and political education is merely the professionalized preceptive instruction,~ which will inevitably isolate itself and fail to ac- complish its educational goal as expected. According to the basic principles of historical materialism, the essence of ideological and political education is the systematic relation between precept and exam- ple. Without＂ the former, the latter is bound to lose its guidance; without the latter, the former will be reduced to boring preaching unrelated with the actuality. The past successes and failures of ideo- logical and political education show that the better precept meshes with example, the more effective r the ideological and political education will be.
