| Abstract: | In this study, a further investigation of the shot put reveals that the event is characterized by speed and strength. Strength should be the basis fitness of the event with special emphasis on the speed. With our training experiences, the ways and means for improving the specific speed ability of elite female shot putters is discussed in the paper. |
