| 摘 要： | 党的十六大报告对我国的对外开放提出了更高的要求。本文依据对外开放的新要求及2003中国500强企业与美国《财富》杂志世界500强企业的比较，论述了对外直接投资是可行的，并且找到了理论依据和存在的现实优势。

| Abstract: | The report made in our Party's 16th Conference suggests expanding our opening to the outside world. On the basis of this suggestion and the comparison between China's 500 top enterprises and the American 500 top enterprises listed on Fortune, this paper argues that conducting direct investment abroad is feasible and we can find theory and practical advantages to support it. |
