| Abstract: | The author believes that the promulgation of the Statues of Language and Writing System is a milestone in the history of Chinese language and writing system. And the paper gives an analysis on the confusions in use of languages and writing system in China and comes to a conclusion that the Statutes will be a fundamentalGuarantee for the Development of Spoken and Written Language in China. |
