双层垂直耦合量子点研究

摘    要:用精确对角化的方法研究了处于外磁场中两层单电子垂直耦合量子点系统.发现在强耦合情况下,随着外磁场的增加,系统基态的角动量会发生跃迁;而在弱耦合的情况下,基态角动量L和自旋都不会随着外磁场的变化而改变,L=O的自旋单态始终为基态.

Abstract:A vertically coupled quantum dots system in a double-layer electrons under a magnetic field is studied by means of the exact diagonalization of the Hamiltonian matrix.It is found that discontinuous ground-state energy transitions are induced by an external magnetic field in the case of strong coupling.However,in the case of weak coupling,the angular momentum L of the true ground state does not change in accordance with the change of the magnetic field B and remains L=0.
