介绍不同学者对知识和信息的认识，从心理学的角度阐述信息转化为知识的认知机理，并进一步对信息和知识进行分类和定义。指出信息是事物运动的状态和方式；知识是大脑对事物认知的一种模式，知识内信息集经过有机组合形成三种认知模式：情感模式、价值模式和认识模式。

The Definition of Information and Knowledge in Psychological Terms

Having reviewed different conceptions of information and knowledge,this paper describes the cognitive transform mecha- nism from information to knowledge in psychological terms.On this basis,the information and knowledge is redefined and classified in this paper.For example,information is described as states and ways of the movement for substances,while knowledge is defined as a cognition model,which is intrinsically combined with the information sets in the brain.After the combination,the information sets form three kinds of models in the brain,that is,feeling model,value model and cognition model.This kind of definition sets lays a founda- tion for the research on the basic theory of knowledge management(KM).
